About
The mission of Reitman Research and Strategy (RRS) is to provide organizations with the tools and analyses they need to explore racial equity within their workplaces.
Since 2016, RRS has provided mixed methods race equity research to organizations locally in New York City and across the country. Its President, Dr. Meredith Reitman, is a qualitative and quantitative researcher who specializes in exploring how race operates within workplaces. As an academic, she used critical race theory and feminist geography to study how racial belonging influences the experiences of men in the IT workplace. This framework has continued to guide her work for two decades by acknowledging racism as an everyday phenomenon, revealing meritocracy as a myth, exploring intersecting racialized oppressions, and centering storytelling by people of color. Her clients are any organizations interested in examining how racial power dynamics are at play within 1) recruitment, hiring, and vendor selection, 2) belonging, retention and culture, and 3) evaluation, pay and promotion. She currently co-leads the Central Queens affiliate of Showing Up for Racial Justice and is just fine with being allergic to her dog and two cats. For more information about Dr. Reitman, please download her resume or visit her page on LinkedIn.
